I am a Postdoctoral Scholar for the Division of Neuromuscular Medicine in the Department of Neurology at Northwestern University, Fienberg School of Medicine. While being part of Northwestern University, I have had the chance to engage in extensive research in the field of Bioinformatics, Genomics, and Medical Science. I have had the chance to gather data from primary sources and performed data analysis which in return helped the institution to come up with better decision making from which as a laboratory we were able to discover new genes in relation to ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) disease. As part of the laboratory, with the help of my data analysis, the laboratory was able to publish papers in different prestigious medical related magazines. In addition, I have had the chance to verify the validity of the data while performing data analysis together with Principe Investigator, MD’s, research scientists etc.
Before joining Northwestern University, I have graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery and worked as a practicing Dentist for a few years prior to starting to work as a Biomedical Informatics Analyst.
