I am currently a second year PICU fellow at Lurie Children's Hospital. I have been interested in teaching since college where I participated in many tutoring opportunities. While in medical school, I joined Med School Tutors where I learned how to be an effective teacher for the Step exams. During residency I focused on teaching my peers by developing chalk talks for my fellow residents and teaching on rounds. I was awarded the resident teaching award twice during training. As a fellow I wanted to try curriculum development for the first time. Along with Lucas Bruton, we created a curriculum that teaches residents skills to deliver difficult news. We are currently implementing this curriculum.
