Dr. Abahuje is a research fellow at the Surgical Outcome and Quality Improvement Center (SOQIC). He completed his General Surgery training at the University of Rwanda in 2016. He thereafter completed a research fellowship in Simulation Medical Education at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Masters degree in Health Professions Education at MGH Institute of Health Professions.
Dr. Abahuje is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Professions Education at MGH Institute of Health Professions. Dr. Abahuje’s research focuses on Non-Technical Skills for Surgeons (NOTSS), Patient Safety and Global Surgery.
