I am an Assistant Professor of Pathology and the Director of Hematology and Hematopathology at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. My clinical duties include signing out bone marrow and lymph node pathology reports, and supervision of the clinical hematology laboratory. I spend a significant amount of time on teaching residents and fellows Pediatric Hematopathology, and this has been one of the greatest passions in my work and life. I have developed a standardized rotation curriculum to improve the training quality of fellows who reported increased self-confidence and higher levels of security when diagnosing pediatric hematologic entities upon graduation.
